It explains why the Commission puts so much emphasis on impact and what applicants can do to maximise the expected impact of their research. It highlights the differences between results, outcome, impact and key impact pathways and how researcher can prepare for outcome-based and impactful research.
The course provides condensed insights into the art of proposal writing. Step-by-step guides allow course attendees to apply the information straight away and work on their own research proposal.

What is a project without the people bringing it to life? An excellent project is implemented by a well-balanced and competent consortium. In addition, most calls require the active involvement of stakeholders, i.e. end users. Learn how to find and choose the partners that help your project to perform. Learn how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders without overstretching your project structures.
- Result, Outcome and Impact – All the Same?
Definitively not! Learn how to use an intervention logic to structure your project, combine research objectives with performance indicators, and prepare for outcome-based research. Learn how to integrate everything into a coherent concept and fit your research into the various impact areas, “key strategic orientations” and “key impact pathways”.
- The Efficient Work Plan
A well-organised and transparent work plan allows the research to be implemented in a timely manner and provides high cost-effectiveness. Learn how to organise it and how to integrate your management structures.

Horizon Europe is not only about excellent research but also about high outreach and impact. Learn how to create targeted, effective and creative dissemination and communication measures that allow you to maximise the impact of your project’s results.
